Does your phone support eSIM?
Most recent phones do. Two quick checks tell you for sure.
Check for an EID
Dial *#06# on your phone. If a number labelled EID appears, your phone supports eSIM.
Check that it’s unlocked
Phones bought from a carrier on contract may be locked to that carrier. Ask your carrier, or look in your phone settings for a carrier lock or network lock status.
Phones that usually support eSIM
- iPhone XS, XR and newer
- Google Pixel 3 and newer
- Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, plus recent Z Fold and Z Flip models
Some models sold in certain countries don’t include eSIM. The EID check is the reliable test.
If your phone doesn’t support eSIM, our plans won’t work on it. Please don’t buy one.
